About us

Salter Pilates is not just your average Pilates studio. We work closely with only the best Chiropractor (who just so happens to be my husband – but I’m not biased at all – well,  maybe a little!) Together, we specialise in helping those with injuries to get back up on their feet and back into being fit and exercising safely by introducing your body to a low impact form of exercise and combining it with deep breathing and gentle stretching.

Salter Pilates can help you stay strong, fit and happy, and the best part is that it is NEVER too late to learn!

I have done pilates with Jess Salter for many many years. She has taught me to identify muscles I never knew I had, and I have never been as strong and aware of my body as I am today. Her classes are challenging, fun and never the same. Jess’ pilates is addictive!

A very attentive instructor. Jess customises sessions to cater to our (my husband joins gor sessions) specific needs and injuries (when these are present). We really appreciate that she understands our training needs (running) and the personal attention we are given. We are stronger runners ????‍♂️????‍♀️ since we joined Jess for regular pilates sessions.

I’ve been doing Pilatus with Jess since 2019. At my recent fitness assessment, the Bio said he can see I’m not the same person I was a year ago ito strength and flexibility. I told him the only thing I changed was to do Pilatus at least 3 times a week. Jess is amazing at guiding you in class on what to do if you have any aches and pains and always ensures you have options on how to participate, from easy to very advanced. Jess has instilled such a love in me for Pilatus, I say it’s my “drug of choice” since I can see how my body and mind benefits from this and needs it. I can highly recommend Salter Pilatus, your body and mind will thank you!
