Who is Jess?

Jess – Founder of Salter Pilates, is a lover of mother nature, chilled vibes and the great outdoors.
I got hooked on Pilates 18 years ago when MRI scans confirmed that my back pain was from Herniated Discs in L4/L5 and L5/S1. After seeing the benefits I was having with the Pilates I decided to join forces with my Sport’s Chiropractor husband to bring his patients something that would really help them deal with their injuries.

By introducing your body to a low impact form of exercise, strengthening up your core and finding muscles you never knew existed, you will start to feel the many benefits such as the strengthening of the deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles  which will provide support to your back, but not only that, you will find your whole body being strengthened and toned in the right places and you will find alignment in your balance, posture, and flexibility.

I studied at Body Control Pilates Head Office in Covent Garden, London, UK and have never looked back. Pilates keeps my spine healthy and has enabled me to have 3 gorgeous kids, keep a very active life, mountain biking, trail running and being outside in nature.
