Fabulous??? I am not so sure about that!?
Not only has my eyesight taken a vacation but I feel like my body seems to be on a “go-slow”!
I am finding now that I am in my 40’s, 44 to be exact, the majority of my clientele are in their 40’s and up!
It’s great because I know how you feel!!
We all seem to have the same sort of complaints.
Achy bodies
Tight muscles
Trouble loosing weight
etc., etc…..
When a client first starts with Pilates, the most frequent phrase I hear is “why didn’t I start Pilates ages ago??”
Lucky for me, I started 17 years ago, otherwise I would be a crock by now!
I am a very active person, loving trail running, mountain biking and anything that gets me outdoors. Now that I am practicing Pilates on a daily basis I am truly seeing the difference it is making to my body. Yes I still get injuries but the movement Pilates brings to your body, helps heal these injuries up far quicker than without it.
The reality is, the older we get the less mobile we become, unless you do something about it. We tend to think it is smarter to do no activity when we are in pain but the truth is…
MOVEMENT IS KING
